The iPhone 8 is going to be significantly smaller in hand than what its 5.8-inch display size would suggest thanks to the lack of bezels. However, it looks like the same cannot be said for the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus. As per a source of TechnoBuffalo, the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus will be slightly bigger than their predecessors in every department.

Like the difference in dimensions between the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s, the iPhone 7s is only going to be a wee bit taller (0.14mm), wider (0.16mm), and thicker (0.11mm) than its predecessor. Such a minimal increase in dimensions is unlikely to be noticed by customers. However, the increase is enough that existing slim fit cases for the iPhone 7 might not fit on the iPhone 7s.

The increase in the dimensions of the new iPhones can be attributed to them coming with wireless charging whose coil can take up a fair bit of internal space. Then, the new iPhones are also going to feature an improved dual-camera setup at their rear which might have also led Apple to increase the dimensions of the handsets by a small margin.

The iPhone 8 might be hogging all the limelight, but Apple is also scheduled to release the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus at its rumored September 12 event this year. Both handsets feature a glass back to allow for wireless charging. They will also come with a vertically placed dual-camera setup at the rear, faster A11 chipset, longer battery life, and an improved LCD display at the front.
