List of Macs compatible with macOS High Sierra

Alongside iOS 11 and watchOS 4, Apple also announced macOS 10.13 High Sierra at WWDC earlier this week. High Sierra is all about performance improvements and primarily comes with many underlying changes and improvements.

This includes the switch to Apple’s speedy new Apple File System, AR and VR support in the OS, external GPU enclosure support, Metal 2.0, and more.

If you are a developer who uses his Mac to create graphical content, you will welcome the new APIs and other changes that Apple is introducing with macOS High Sierra.

Since most of the changes are underlying in nature, High Sierra will be compatible with all Macs that was compatible with Sierra. This means that the following Macs are compatible with High Sierra

To find out if your Mac is compatible with Sierra or not, click the Apple logo in the top-left menu bar and select ‘About this Mac.’ The model number of your Mac will be listed under the ‘Overview’ tab.
