A couple of weeks ago, Apple released iOS 10.3.3, which included bug fixes and security improvements. We expect iOS 10.3.3 to be the last update for iOS 10 before iOS 11 is released next month.
iOS 10.3.3 included a fix for a vulnerability that could allow a hacker to execute arbitrary code on the Wi-Fi chip. But unlike iOS 10.2 and iOS 10.3 which included a number of major new features and improvements, iOS 10.3.3 doesn’t any major features which could affect battery life.
Two weeks is enough time to figure out if an iOS software update is having battery life issues. I haven’t noticed any impact on battery life, either positive or negative, after upgrading to iOS 10.3.3. Nor have we seen an increase in complaints from our readers.
