Carriers are no strangers to offering sweet deals to try and convince people to switch to their network, and Sprint is at it again.
Today the Now Network officially announced that it will offer a year’s worth of unlimited (data, talk, text) for those who make the switch from AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, or any other post-paid carrier for that matter. Sprint says that if you make the switch, and take advantage of this deal, you could save up to $900 for that year compared to Verizon Wireless.
You’ll need to bring over your iPhone or Android device, and you’ll get to keep that phone — and your phone number, as is par for the course when switching carriers. Sprint is also going to waive activation fees (which makes sense, considering you’d bring your own device), and there are no annual contracts attached.
Here’s Sprint’s fine print on the promotion:
“Savings until 7/31/18; then $60/mo. for line 1, $40/mo. for line 2 & $30/mo./line for lines 3-5. Reqs. AutoPay (discount applied w/in 2 invoices), new account, bring your own eligible device & Sprint SIM card. Savings claim compared to Verizon Unlimited rate plan for 1 line as of 5/31/17. Data deprioritization during congestion. Other monthly charges apply.”
You’ll have to click on this link to see if your device is eligible for the promotion before you can get started, too. As for iPhones, you’ll be able to bring one of the following:
iPhone 6s Plus
The deal runs until June 30, so you have until the end of month to make a decision. What’s more, the device you bring over has to be unlocked and support Sprint’s CDMA network, so keep that in mind.
